I thought it would be helpful to create a resource page that you can always come to for all of your horse keeping and riding needs.
Disclosure: Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links, and at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you decide to make a purchase. Please understand that I have experience with all of these companies, and I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to buy something. Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.

If you look at nothing else on this page, these are the two that you should know about. I find myself recommending these resources again and again, in emails and on podcasts. I use them because they make my life easier, and I’m confident you’ll agree too.

Suffering in Silence:Exploring the Painful Truth: The Saddle-Fit Link to Physical and Psychological Trauma in Horsesby Johcan Schleese. This book is my “go to” for saddle fitting. NAG Bag Hay Net

NAG Slow Feeder Hay Net in Tombstone feeder

The N.A.G Slow Feeder – Natural Alternative Grazers hay net is a hay-saver and a work-saver on our farm. We alternate the N.A.G  with the Texas haynet. This summer due to the poor pasture we used our hay nets all summer. If you live in Canada the N.A.G Slow Feeder is made in British Columbia. It is a quality round bale hay net that withstands harsh winters, two mouthy Haflingers and one Quarter horse abuse. If you live in the U.S.A the Texas hay net is another quality net (see video review) that we use. Either brand of hay net is shipped internationally.
